Amber - Maternity

Re-united with an long-time friend, and had so much fun capturing this special time in her life (and husband Joe too - he just wasn't as excited about this picture business!) Special thanks to creative Amber for some of the cute ideas. Although I frequently look at Pinterest, I wasn't as prepared as I thought for this session, so Amber had lots of quick ideas in mind that made for some beautiful memories. I can't wait to welcome Claire into the world.....she has more pictures in her future than she knows :-)

Laila - Newborn (6 days)

How lucky was I to get to capture such a tiny, precious baby girl, just perfect! And boy did she spoil me, just dozing away and letting us move her arms and legs every which way.... until she was a little hungry :-) Got to put the new camera and lense to work too (thanks to my ever so thoughtful husband)

Anna - Senior Photos

Thanks to sweet Anna for her patience with me and wanting to get my settings "just right" for a couple of these shots....AND for making my day by letting me take pictures of her with her horse, Peanut - or "Peanut Butter" I may have heard her call him a few times! Truly breathtaking, watching these two together. This is one photo shoot I will NEVER forget (and not just because I got shocked by the fence either!)

My absolute FAVORITE capture of the evening! Totally un-posed and natural, the older sisters awing over their little 6 week old sister and big brother really not into this baby thing! :-) Love it. These beautiful kids were so polite and well-behaved. They made this session a breeze, despise the nasty abundance of bugs!
